Recipe Card...

Good Evening Everyone,

Hope you all had a lovely day....the weather was pretty good here.
Well, I had some crafty time this afternoon so I came up with a Recipe card....
So I decided to post it tonight as hubby has got day off tomorrow and we're planning to hit the shops to get all the last little things I need for me and baby, so that I can get my hospital bags packed....

Anyway I made a pocket card to hold a recipe....

I used a tutorial from my recent Cardmaking & Paper Crafting magazine to make the main pocket. I then added the Patterned papers which I bought from Hobbycraft on my last trip -They from Dovecraft and it's called 'Tea Party' these papers is just all delicious....

I then stamped my images, which was some freebies from my previous magazine - 'You're so Sweet ' by Adam Prescott.
I then cut it out with a plain circle die and matted it onto the fancy circle which is from Spellbinders. I coloured my images using my Promarkers.

I then added the ribbon across the card before mounting my image onto the main pocket.
The 3 buttons is cut out using a die from Nellie Snellen.

I lastly did the recipe card, which I typed out using MS word and then mounted onto the yellow card.

Back of recipe card....

Well, I hope you all like it, and that you could find something that inspired you.....

Pocket Card with Magnolia...

Good Afternoon,

Well, its another glorious sunny day here in Scotland.....Looks like spring has finally arrived, but unfortuneatly the weather is going to change over the weekend....

Anyway I have made another spring inspired card to show you all today...

My Card Recipe:

I went for a pocket fold card for my design, as I haven't made one of these before and I really wanted to try it as they seem to be very popular at the moment.

I went for Magnolia Tilda as I haven't used this stamp in a very long time...I paper pieced her dungarees and coloured the rest of my images using my Promarkers.

I must admit I am not to sure where these papers are from as it was little bits of scraps I had in my scrap box.

The punched borders is punched using a Martha Stewart punch and the flower was cut out using Spellbinders flower and my Grand Calibur.

The oval and scalloped oval was cut out using Spellbinders ovals.

The digi sentiment is from Digi Doodle Shop.

Lastly I added the Ribbon and the rhinestones to finish off my card.

I Hope you all like it and found something to inspire you. Thank you for taking time to stop by my blog and you are welcome to leave me a comment as they are always very much appreciated.

Spring with D'Arcy's Diaries

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Hope your doing okay on this lovely Spring Day....we've had Sunshine all day and it is totally fabulous....

So I made a lovely Spring inspired card this afternoon....

My Card Recipe:
I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge blog.

My Image is another one from D'Arcy's Diaries and it's Mummy's Little helper. I must say I have totally fell in love with these images.

I have coloured my image using my Promarkers and this time I used some watercolour pencil's as well just to add some depth to my image. Isn't she pretty?

I went for a Monochromatic feel and I used papers from a Papermania paper pad called Antique Creams. I've had this for more than two years and never used any of it. I went for a 8 x 8 square card as my image was a bit big when I printed it off, so I decided that I was going to need a big card if I want to fit everything on there.

I matted the paper on dark brown card after I distressed the edges a bit, then I added the stitching with my sewing machine.
The brown lace borders was punched using a Martha Stewart punch. The digi sentiment is a freebie from Digi Doodle Shop, go check them out as they have loads of lovely free sentiments.

My flowers  is hand made using different size circle dies and some distress ink. I must say I am really pleased with how they turned out.

Well, I hope you all like it and could find something that inspired you. Thank You for stopping by my blog and leaving me all your lovely comments.

Easter with Darcy's Diaries

Good Evening Bloggers,

How are you all doing this evening? Hope the weather was as good where you are as it was here....
I actually got quite a bit done today...
I started sorting out some of the baby stuff, as it is really time I start somewhere....lol and me and hubby finally finished sorted out my daughters room as well, and she is now in her 'Big Girls' bed tonight as she calls it....and I managed a little card as well..

.

My card recipe:

My image is a digi from D'Arcy's Diaries and is called Easter thoughts, I just came across these this week but I just couldn't resist, her digi's is really all adorable.....
My papers is just from my scrap box, so I can't remember where these are from and even how long it's been in there....lol
The scalloped circles was cut out using my Grand Calibur and Spellbinder Grand Scalloped circles.
I coloured my image using my promarkers and then matted it on plain pink.
I then added the swirls and little flower and leaves and the sentiment.
I used the sketch from Fetch a sketch challenge, but switched the sides for the buttons, but had to leave one off as I didn't want to cover the whole green embossed strip as the sentiment has already covered up one side.
Last but not least I added the bow.

I hope you all like it, and Thank You for taking time to stop by my blog and leaving me all your lovely comments, just know it is very much appreciated.....

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

The Papers is from a Dovecraft Paper pad - Fairtales, I went for these because of the soft pastel colours.

Anyhow I had the Vellum with the pink butterflies for absolutely ages, and I was really wanting to do something wit it, but I didn't want a stamped images to take away the focus of the background, so instead I just went for some handmade flowers and a butterfly...

The butterfly was cut out using the Grand Butterflies from Spellbinders, as well as the scalloped and plain ovals.
The flowers was from one of my very first ever cuttlebug dies. The leaves is a Xcut punch.

I hope you all can find something inspiring about this card...lol

Good Evening Blogland,
Well, yes I had some spare time on my hands this afternoon as hubby was home early and just wanted to watch some telly, and my LO was quite happy just sitting colouring some pictures in her colouring book so I decided to use the opportunity to do some crafting....as I think my Mojo is slowly returning since I think I left it in South Africa.
Well, maybe I will get some more time from now until the baby comes to do some crafting as mostly everything has been sorted out and the rooms is getting ready, slowly but surely....
Anyhow here's my card for the day:
I must apologise as my picture isn't very good, I was struggling as it's a bit dark and the light is affecting the true colours I might replace my picture tomorrow in day light.

As you all know the stamp is from Gorjuss and this one is Sweetheart and I had this stamp for over 8 months now and this is the first time it's been inked up.
